Where did this beautiful sum bring joy?
Adoption of ProTibet
Our biggest project is Adoption ProTibet, through which we provided CZK 3,633,009. This money was distributed as follows:
Convent schools – CZK 1,172,222
Education and quality living conditions of monks and nuns are one of our main priorities. We are very glad that you also care about them. Thank you!
We supported the Diskit monastery school with the amount of CZK 57,000.
We supported the Kowang Girls’ Convent School with the amount of CZK 110,000.
The Komik Monastery in Spiti received 255,000 CZK.
We supported the girls’ monastery in the remote Pin valley with the amount of CZK 118,000.
One of the longest-supported monasteries, Ki, received CZK 460,000 from us.
And the Tikse Monastery in Ladakh, where we look forward to every year, received CZK 10,000.
SOS Tibetan Exiles – 1,130,000 CZK
Tibetan children living in exile villages do not have much. But thanks to your support, they have the possibility of quality studies, fun extracurricular activities, good food, clothes and ever-improving health care. That’s not enough! Thank you!
We supported the Tibetan Homes Foundation, where 2,500 children live, with the amount of CZK 1,000,000.
The Tibetan Children Village in Dharamsala received 130,000 CZK from us.
Gyalten Tibetan School – CZK 759,009
We have supported the children in this school in eastern Tibet in Kham for many years. Unfortunately, the ever-tightening control and bureaucracy on the part of China makes it impossible for us to continue supporting the school. In 2019, we managed the almost impossible – to hand over all the remaining money we collected for Gyalten School. This has been the biggest problem in recent years. Since there is no way to transfer money or control projects in the future, we were forced to stop supporting this school.
Seniors
We are doing our best to improve the living conditions and peaceful, dignified old age of Tibetan seniors, who often have a very difficult life behind them. Thank you for helping us with this!
We supported seniors in Ladakh with the amount of CZK 230,000.
We supported seniors living in the Home for Seniors under THF near the city of Dehradun with the amount of CZK 233,000.
Seniors in South India received CZK 58,000 from us.
Senior citizens living in Dharamsala received 51,000 CZK.
ProTibet development projects

ProTibet School – CZK 386,697
Teachers’ salaries, renovation of school premises, textbooks, study materials and other important things are covered thanks to your generous help.
Diskit Convent School was supported with the amount of CZK 20,000.
Nomadic children living in the highlands of Ladakh received CZK 36,000 for their three-month study program.
We supported the Tibetan Homes Foundation with the amount of CZK 82,000 intended for scholarships for higher education for the smartest students.
The school in the Tibetan region of Bathang in Tibet received 248,697 CZK from us.
Goat ProTibet – CZK 300,000
We were not ready in 2018, much more so last year! Thanks to you, nomads and their herds of goats have a much better chance of surviving the winter. We are very happy that you care about preserving the traditional way of life in the mountains. Thank you!
Water ProTibet – CZK 97,206
Thanks to your help, the first hygienic water storage barrels and quality water filters have already been purchased. Children at the Tibetan Homes Foundation will be able to drink clean, safe water at any time. That’s amazing.
ProTibet doctors – CZK 107,218
Health care and vaccination against jaundice – these were the most acute problems in 2019. Thanks to you, we were ready for them!
The retirement home in Dharamsala received CZK 50,000 from us for vaccination against jaundice.
People in the Spiti Valley received CZK 57,218 for vaccination.
Wheelchair – 9,934 CZK
Seniors in Ladakh are enjoying new canes for safer walking thanks to you.
Heating for the winter – 50,000 CZK
Winter in Ladakh brings even -30°C frosts. It doesn’t get much warmer in cottages without heating and these are not ideal conditions for old age. Thanks to your help, seniors in Ladakh can stay hydrated. Thank you!
